According to BRIN’s official website, the award was given for the collaboration between BRIN and IPB University in joint research publications from 2021 to 2024. This research collaboration has resulted in 1,131 publications in scientific journals across two main fields: Agricultural and Biological Sciences and Environmental Science.
On the same occasion, awards were also given to several IPB University researchers as authors with the highest number of joint publications with BRIN. They are Prof Anuraga Jayanegara (56 joint publications), Dr Obie Farobie (26 joint publications), and Dr Rita Kartika Sari (25 joint publications).
An award was also presented to Dr Widya Fatriasari, the BRIN author with the most publications in collaboration with IPB University. She is an IPB University alumna who is currently a researcher at the BRIN Center for Biomass and Bioproduct Research.
“This moment further strengthens the fact that IPB University has very productive researchers both on a national and international scale,” said Prof Ernan Rustiadi, Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Agromaritime Development at IPB University.
This achievement also contributes to IPB University’s global recognition, including its position as the best agricultural university in Southeast Asia and seventh in Asia. According to Prof Ernan, IPB University has maintained this achievement since 2018 to the present.
