Strengthening Synergy with Partners, Rector Conveys the Development of IPB University
The Directorate of Cooperation of IPB University held a Stakeholder Forum. This event was held to bring together the partners of IPB University.
Dr Alfian Helmi, Director of Cooperation said, “There are communication channels that we must synergize with each other, what is needed by IPB University and partners.”
“We believe this is a concrete manifestation of IPB University’s commitment to establish synergies with partners and support the vision of IPB University to become a techno sociopreneur university,” he said when giving a speech at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor (12/12).
He continued, “We will continue to strengthen and improve the good cooperation between IPB University and partners in the future. Because, the challenges ahead are increasingly complex. Of course we must collaborate to strengthen and solve the problems we face in the future,” he said.
Dr Alfian added, IPB University is one of the universities that has high value related to sustainable issues. Therefore, there are still many opportunities that can be collaborated.
Prof Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University said, this activity was important to get input from IPB University partners.
“We are committed that IPB University has benefits and impact and provides added value to partners and society,” he explained.
He also revealed a number of achievements of IPB University in 2024. Among them, IPB University managed to be ranked 1st in Indonesia or 60th in the world by Time Higher Education (THE).
For the Asian level, based on QS World University Ranking, IPB University occupies the 8th best for agricultural education. As for The AppliedHe Public University Ranking ASEAN 2024, IPB University is in the 3rd best position in ASEAN.
Meanwhile, Times Higher Education (THE) University Impact Rankings placed IPB University in the 1st best position for SDGs 8, 9th best for SDGs1, and 10th best for SDGs 2.
“In addition, IPB University also won the best 1 in Indonesia’s SDGs Action Awards 2024 organized by the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency (Ministry of PPN/Bappenas,” he concluded. (AS/Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
