Pasca Cup 2024: An Event of Creation, Competition and Togetherness of Graduate Students of IPB University
The Graduate Student Forum or Forum Wacana (FW) of the Graduate School (SPs) of IPB University officially opened an annual sports and arts event called Pasca Cup. The opening of Pasca Cup 2024 took place at Satari Auditorium, Faculty of Medicine, IPB Dramaga Campus (16/11).
This activity was attended by delegates from 12 faculties at IPB University with a total of 12 branches of competition from various fields. Pasca Cup 2024 is an annual event that is expected to be an inspirational forum for SPs IPB University students to continue to uphold the values of solidarity and togetherness.
The opening of Pasca Cup 2024 was symbolically carried out by Prof Yusli Wardiatno (Vice Dean for Academic, Student Affairs, and Alumni of SPs), Deli Wakano, MSi (Chairperson of FW), Aldi Oktavian (Chairperson of the Pasca Cup 2024 Committee), and presented keynote speaker Dr Ibnu Hasan (Assistant Deputy for Sports of Persons with Disabilities, Deputy for Sports Cultivation, Ministry of Youth and Sports).
Prof Yusli Wardiatno expressed his appreciation for the enthusiasm and dedication of SPs students in organizing Pasca Cup 2024. According to him, this activity is not only a competition event, but also provides an opportunity to show the best potential, establish solidarity and strengthen togetherness among SPs IPB University students.
“We hope that this activity can continue to be a good tradition for SPs IPB University students, and can even be complemented with activities such as a gala show of traditional clothing to celebrate the diversity of Indonesian culture,” he said.
Meanwhile, Dr Ibnu Hasan in his speech invited SPs IPB University students to become a generation that is tough and has a fighter mentality. “As future leaders of the nation, postgraduate students must have a high fighting spirit and the ability to advance the nation,” he added.
Pasca Cup 2024 this time presents various types of competitions covering the fields of sports, arts, e-sports, reasoning, and entertainment. In the sports field, there are futsal, basketball, chess, badminton, and table tennis competitions. The e-sport field featured Mobile Legend and Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) competitions.
For art, participants competed in song covers and poetry. Meanwhile, the reasoning field presented Leaderless Group Discussion (LGD) and National Poster. Not to forget, entertainment competitions in the form of UNO card games were also part of the excitement of this event. (HBL/Rz) (IAAS/RUM)
