In improving the knowledge and skills of Business Incubation program startups, the Institute of Science and Technology Area (LKST) IPB University held the Coaching Startup Business Incubation Program Year 2024 Series 2.

This activity involved 25 grantee startups and two incubation program startups from the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN). The event took place at the IPB International Convention Center, Bogor (12/11).

Chief of LKST IPB University, Prof Erika B Laconi in her speech emphasized IPB University’s commitment in mobilizing startups to exist and develop. “Existence is not only from programs, but after there is a touch from the business incubator program team through LKST IPB University, hopefully our startups will continue to grow,” she said.

“My message to all CEOs who are fostered by IPB University, do not just wait for funds, but must multiply ideas, creativity, and innovation and new breakthroughs in order to be able to survive and continue to exist,” said Prof Erika.

Vice Chief of LKST IPB University for Incubators and Industrial Partnerships, Prof Rokhani Hasbullah said that this opportunity should be well utilized by startups.

“We hope that they will always communicate with IPB University, especially LKST and always be updated and active in existing activities,” he said.

One of the speakers, Andreas Senjaya as CEO of Founderplus, said that pitching or showing ideas is not only about public speaking skills. However, the substance delivered must relate to the target audience so that it becomes attractive to people who hear, be it investors, customers, or potential partners.

“In my opinion, this program is good because it can directly present startup CEOs to share knowledge experiences. Hopefully this program will continue to be sustainable and useful for the participants,” he explained. (AS/Rz) (IAAS/NAU)
