IPB University Explores Cooperation Opportunities with Aurora State College of Technology, Philippines
IPB University received a visit from Aurora State College of Technology, Philippines. This meeting is in order to strengthen the collaboration between the two institutions.
Vice Rector of IPB University in the field of Global Connectivity, Collaboration and Alumni Relations, Prof Iskandar Z Siregar welcomed the arrival of the leadership from Aurora State College of Technology, Philippines.
Prof Iskandar explained that IPB University is very open to collaboration with various parties.
“This willingness to work together provides great opportunities for parties who want to contribute to research innovation, both in the field of technopreneurship and sociopreneurship,” he said when receiving a delegation at the IPB Dramaga Campus, not long ago.
Prof Iskandar hopes that the collaboration that will be able to produce relevant solutions and have a wide impact on global challenges.
“Through a holistic approach in research and technology development, IPB University continues to strive to become a leader in global innovation,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Director of Global Connectivity of IPB University, Dr Eva Anggraini revealed that IPB University has 24 study centers and five international research institutions.
As part of the technopreneurship ecosystem, IPB University also focuses on the development of innovative research and Science Techno Park which is the main driver of technology-based industries.
“IPB University will continue to strive to expand the impact of its innovation to the global level,” she said.
President of Aurora State College of Technology, Dr Renato G Eyes expressed his pleasure at the welcome from the leader of IPB University.
He expressed his readiness to collaborate on various possible cooperation opportunities.
“We are committed to carrying out research that is able to produce technological innovations, breakthroughs, and programs that support the achievement of sustainable development goals, especially in the fields of economic, social, and environmental sustainability,” he said. (dr) (IAAS/TIA)
