Directorate of SDM of IPB University Holds Workshop on Preparation for Implementation of Permendikbudristek Number 44 Year 2024
The Directorate of Human Resources (SDM) of IPB University held a Workshop on Preparation for Implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Permendikbudristek) Number 44 of 2024 concerning Profession, Career, and Income of Lecturers. This activity took place at the IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor (24/10).
In the opening remarks, Vice Rector of IPB University in the field of Resource Resilience and Infrastructure, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet conveyed, the spirit of this regulation gives autonomous rights for universities in managing professions, careers and also income for lecturers.
According to him, the policy is also an opportunity for IPB University to make a comprehensive transformation in the management of lecturers. “IPB University is trusted as a piloting institution in this regulation. This trust is certainly for our performance and integrity,” he said.
Dr Heti Mulyati, Director of Human Resources of IPB University said, this workshop aims to better understand the regulation of Permendikbudristek Number 44 of 2024. This understanding is important in order to formulate opportunities and challenges in its implementation, especially for faculties and schools at IPB University.
“To implement this regulation, IPB University as a piloting university has about 70 days until January 25, 2025. We need to work together to implement this regulation as well as possible,” she said.
Prof Hari Wijayanto, Director of Planning of IPB University on this occasion explained the flow of Lecturer Performance Indicator (IKD). “If we look at the definition, this is part of lecturer performance management to assess the competence of lecturers in implementing the tridarma of higher education
“The main challenge is how to accelerate the wishes of all lecturers with the performance of our respective units. So, in determining the target indicators for each lecturer in this regulation, we must have communication with the leadership,” he said. (AS/Rz) (IAAS/Hap)
