IPB University and Simalungun University Agree to Sign MoU

IPB University and Simalungun University agreed to establish cooperation in the fields of education, research, community service and resource development. The signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) was conducted in Rector’s Conference Room 2, Andi Hakim Nasoetion Building, IPB Dramaga Campus (14/8).

“IPB University is pleased to be able to cooperate with many partners from various parties in private universities from various parts of the archipelago including the University of Simalungun,” said Prof Arif in his speech. 

He added, “IPB University and North Sumatra have done a lot of MoUs so we also hope that the lecturers of Simalungun University can continue their Masters and S3 at IPB University to be able to strengthen cooperation,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Simalungun University, Dr Sarintan Efratani Damanik, expressed his gratitude to IPB University for conducting the MoU with Simalungun University.

“Simalungun University has been established since 1965 but still needs to develop its wings, therefore we want to cooperate with IPB University and will follow up to the memorandum of agreement (MoA) and implementation arrangement (IA) in the near future,” said Dr Sarintan. (IAAS/Ard)
