IPB University KKNT Innovation Students Encourage Agricultural, Livestock, and Marketing Transformation in Sidamulya Village

Sidamulya Village, Tegal, Central Java witnessed the spirit of IPB University’s Innovation Real-Thematic Work Lecture (KKNT) students in the Socialization of Agriculture, Livestock, and Ecosis (SP2E) activity which took place on Saturday, 20/7. This activity succeeded in attracting the attention of residents with various recommendations and new knowledge from IPB University students.

This activity took place at the Harapan Mulya Farmer Group Chairman’s House in Warureja District, Tegal Regency and was attended by representatives from the Harapan Mulya, Sidamakmur, Tetap Rahayu farmer groups, home breeders, and several Sidamulya Village residents.

“This SP2E activity is designed to educate the people of Sidamulya Village about the choice of new commodities that can be planted, the potential of livestock that can be developed, and agribusiness commodity marketing tools through the explanation of Ecosis,” explained Muammar Adha Rafif Pratama as the KKNT Innovation Village Coordinator of Sidamulya Village.

Muammar continued, students also introduced the IPB Digitani application which is expected to be a solution to various agricultural problems in the village.

“The main objective of this activity is to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in agriculture, livestock, and marketing of agricultural products. With this socialization, it is hoped that the community can implement a more efficient and integrated marketing system, and start trying the realm of digital agriculture,” he said.

Muammar said, the material presented at the activity was very rich in information. “With high enthusiasm and enthusiasm, we hope this activity can bring positive changes to Sidamulya Village, making the community more independent, prosperous, and competitive in expanding the marketing of their agricultural products,” he said.
