IPB University Strengthens Cooperation with Two Universities in Thailand

IPB University strengthens international cooperation with several well-known universities in Thailand, such as Kasetsart University and Chulalongkorn University. IPB intends to strengthen cooperation with the two universities in various fields, which are tehnosocia-preneurship based on innovation, international community outreach, joint research on food and agriculture, and one health.

The cooperation with Kasetsart University was marked by the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which took place at Kasetsart University, on 12/6. Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria stated that this collaboration is an effort of IPB University to improve the quality of education and research through the exchange of knowledge and resources with foreign institutions.

“This collaboration opens up great opportunities for our students and lecturers to engage in joint research, student exchange programs, and various other academic and research activities. We believe that this synergy will enrich the academic and research experience at both universities,” said Prof Arif.

On the same occasion, Kasetsart University Rector, Prof Chongrak Wachrinrat, expressed his enthusiasm for this collaboration. “We are very pleased to be able to cooperate with IPB University which has a strong reputation in agriculture and the environment. We have the same mission in developing world agriculture, and hope that this collaboration will produce innovations that benefit both countries,” said Prof Chongrak.

In addition to Kasetsart University, strengthening international collaboration is also carried out with Chulalongkorn University. Some of the main focuses in this collaboration include the development of innopreneurship and halal science center between Chulalongkorn University and IPB University.

“This strategic step is in line with IPB University’s vision to become an international higher education institution that contributes to global solutions in the fields of agriculture, food, and tropical biosciences. By strengthening the international cooperation network, IPB University is committed to continuously improving the quality of education and research for the progress of the nation and the welfare of the world,” said Prof Arif.
