IPB University Leadership Dormitory Students Conduct Social Project at Mizan Amanah Foundation
On 4/2, a group of IPB University leadership dormitory students carried out a social project at Yayasan Mizan Amanah, Cimanggu. This project was held as a form of concern for others and part of an effort to have a positive impact on the surrounding community.
The eight students involved in this social project involved 12 children from the foundation. “One of the activities held was a coloring game, which was enthusiastically followed by the children. They showed their creativity with enthusiasm in every sheet of pictures they colored,” said the head of the student social project group, Aidil.
Aidil said, in addition to the coloring game, the event also ended with the handover of donations to the foundation. The donation was the result of fundraising done by the students. “The donation is expected to help the foundation in carrying out its social activities that benefit the community,” he said.
“I feel very happy because I can participate in activities that bring joy to the children at Mizan Amanah Foundation. We must continue to make a positive contribution to the surrounding community, especially for those who need help,” she said.
Aidil continued, this activity not only benefits the children of the foundation, but also provides valuable experience for the students involved. “They learn about the meaning of caring and togetherness and understand how important their role is as future leaders in having a positive impact on society,” she said.
He hoped that the presence and contribution of IPB University students in these social activities could continue to bring goodness to many people in the future. (*/Lp) (IAAS/Aly)
