Submission of Civil Servant Rank Increase is Now Easier, Submission Time is Opened Six Times a Year

The Directorate of Human Resources of IPB University held a Socialization of Rank Increase of Lecturers and Functional Education Personnel (tendik) online through zoom meeting on Friday, 26/1. Participants consisted of lecturers and functional education personnel of IPB University. This effort is not just to provide services, but to carry out a shared vision and steps in fostering lecturers and functional education personnel staff.

“From this activity we ask for input from speakers for lecturers and functional education personnel. This activity can also provide an understanding of the new regulations. Later there are things that can be a guide for us and hopefully we can take advantage of this activity to be able to take the right steps, “explained Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet as Vice Rector for Resource Resilience and Infrastructure of IPB University.

Director of Human Resources (HR), Dr Heti Mulyati said, with the enactment of the Regulation of the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Number 1 of 2023, IPB University has done two things, namely proposing functional positions during the transition period and withdrawing data from the credit score with the List of Credit Score Proposers (DUPAK), which is then integrated from the credit score into Employee Performance Targets (SKP).

“A total of 1,111 lecturers have received the Decree on Credit Score Determination (SK PAK) integration and 13 lecturers are still waiting for approval from the State Personnel Agency (BKN) team. These categories vary, there are positions lower than the rank of the class and vice versa,” added Heti.

Dr Heti continued, with the BKN Regulation Number 4 of 2023 concerning Periodization of Civil Servant Rank Increases, it is known that the promotion period has changed, which is opened six times a year, meaning that lecturers or functional education personnel if they want to get promoted do not have to wait in April or October.

“Regarding policies and other technical matters, especially for those who are eligible, then the credit score has been fulfilled, please propose immediately. As additional information, for lecturers whose Retirement Age Limit (BUP) as of January 1, 2025 is given the opportunity to propose the last promotion on January 31, 2024, hopefully we can all pursue and try,” concluded Heti.
