BPRS Botani IPB University Receives the Republika Sharia Award 2023
PT Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah (BPRS) Botani Bina Rahmah or better known as BPRS Botani, for the very first time, has received an award as the Best BPRS in the Republika Sharia Award (ASR) 2023. The award ceremony took place at Hotel JS Luwansa, Jakarta, on Thursday (30/11).
The Director of PT Bogor Life Science and Technology (BLST) Holding Company IPB University, Dr Naufal Mahfudzas, a representative of the controlling shareholder of BPRS Botani, received the ASR 2023 award. He was accompanied by Independent Commissioner of PT BLST, Dr Ahmad Mukhlis Yusuf, President Commissioner of PT BPRS Botani, Prof Lukman M Baga, CEO of PT BPRS Botani, Abdillah Jetha Putra, and Operational Director of PT BPRS Botani, Budy Sutra Darmawan.
After receiving the award, the CEO of BPRS Botani, Abdillah Jetha Putra, expressed his deep gratitude for the recognition. He also extended his thanks to Republika for acknowledging the efforts of Sharia economic and financial practitioners, particularly BPRS Botani.
“Thanks are also extended to the entire management and staff of BPRS Botani for putting the utmost effort and working to the maximum extent, enabling BPRS Botani to be part of this award ceremony,” he said.
According to him, this achievement will further motivate BPRS Botani to contribute to the growth of the Sharia economy. The recognition also serves as inspiration to continue providing services and products that benefit customers, embracing a spirit of cooperation, and making life a means to provide more benefits to others.
Meanwhile, the representative of the controlling shareholder of BPRS Botani, Dr Naufal Mahfudz, expressed his highest appreciation to all levels of management and employees of BPRS Botani for this achievement.
“This award is expected to push and motivate us to enhance our performance and provide even better services to all our stakeholders, aiming to not only elevate BPRS Botani but also make it an excellent company,” he added on.
BPRS Botani has been focusing on the development of UMKM within the community. In 2024, BPRS Botani will concentrate on innovating the diversity of its products and services, moving towards digitalization.
Over the past two years, the asset growth of BPRS Botani has been rapid, and it continues to expand its network for collaboration with various parties. This step is taken with the aim to contribute to the development of the Sharia economy and finance in Indonesia collectively.
In 2023, for the seventh time, Republika organized the ASR. This award is a form of appreciation for participants in the Islamic economy in Indonesia, whether related to service products or innovative breakthroughs, including digital transformation to meet the needs of the community.
In the welcoming speech, Elba stated that the development of the Sharia economy is highly potential. According to her, the Islamic economy and finance have now become an integral part of Indonesian society and life, considering it is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world.
