A total of seven students from the Split Site Master Program in Economics IPB University-Adelaide University graduated

Seven Indonesian students successfully graduated from the Split Site Master Program (SSMP) in Economics, which is a collaboration between the Master of Economics Study Program (Prodi), Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) IPB University, and the Faculty of Arts, Business, Law and Economics, The University of Adelaide.

Dean of FEM IPB University, Dr Irfan Syauqi Beik said, “All students study at IPB University with scholarships from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the first year.”

Then, in their second year, they received the Australia Awards Scholarship (AAS) while studying in their second year at Adelaide University. “This collaboration between SSMP IPB University and The University of Adelaide has been running since 2014,” explained Dr Irfan.

AAS Awardee’s moment of happiness was felt during the graduation procession at Bonython Hall, The University of Adelaide (23/11). This event was attended by Dr Suntono, Chair of the BPS Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat), Dr Lukytawati Anggraeni Vice Dean of FEM for Resources, Cooperation and Development, Dr Tony Irawan, Chair of the Department of Economics.

A number of lecturers teaching the Master of Economics Study Program were also present, such as Prof Dedi Budiman Hakim, Dr Yeti Lis Purnamadewi, and Dr Sahara, as well as representatives of the donor agency AAS.

The peak of pride was when four of the seven SSMP IPB University-The University of Adelaide graduates received the title of ‘Outstanding Academic Achievement’ in the Masters of Applied Economics. Destrianto Mursalin, Mutiara Vigia Leran Putri, Theresa Novalia, and Yuris Trisman Zega are the four graduates.
