Vetastic Night Peak Night 2023: Embrace the Beauty of Nature’s Diversity
A crowd was seen gathering at the peak of Veterinary Artistic (Vetastic) Night (12/11) at Innovation Park, IPB Dramaga Campus. Vetastic Night is one of the annual work programs of the Department of Interests and Talents, Student Executive Board of the School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science (BEM SKHB) IPB University.
Vetastic Night 2023 carries the theme “Flower Garden” and the tagline “Embrace the Beauty of Nature’s Diversity.” The concept of a flower garden is proposed as a visualization of harmony between humans, animals and the ecosystem. This intention is in line with the tagline that nature as a place that shelters humans and animals must be maintained for future generations.
As the name suggests, Vetastic Night was held as a form of appreciation for the interest of students and the entire SKHB IPB University community in the field of arts. Not limited to musical arts, Vetastic Night 2023 displays traditional dance, modern dance and poetry. Paintings filled with “Flower Garden” decorate every corner of the IPB University Innovation Park.
The organizers of Vetastic Night 2023 also brought in DJ Loy’s to liven up the atmosphere. At the end of the event, a flash mob was presented which was attended by visitors simultaneously. In the Vetastic Night 2023 series, two competitions in the arts field were also held, namely the outfit idea competition and the makeup competition.
Vetastic Night 2023 has succeeded in attracting the attention of more than 500 visitors. The SKHB IPB University community from various classes happily watched performance after performance from start to finish.
The Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, the Dean of SKHB and the lecturers were present to accompany the Vetastic Night event this time. The visitors who attended also gave a positive aura to the implementation of the event.
“I hope that Vetastic Night 2023 can introduce the talents at SKHB IPB University to fellow students, that SKHB is not only superior in academic fields but also in non-academic fields,” said Juanndisa as chief executive.
According to her, it is hoped that Vetastic Night will be able to grow the seeds of love and appreciation for art and awaken the imaginative and creative souls of students. (AP/Rz) (IAAS/AMR).
