Fema IPB University Signs Academic Collaboration with Fema Universiti Putra Malaysia

Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema) IPB University signed an academic collaboration contract with Fema Universitas Putra Malaysia (UPM). Dean of Fema UPM, Prof Mohamad Fazli Bin Sabri and Dean of Fema IPB University, Dr Sofyan Sjaf alternately signed the Agreement on Academic Collaboration which took place at the UPM Campus. The signing was also accompanied by the Vice Dean of Fema IPB University for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr Megawati Simanjuntak.

“We welcome the collaboration in the academic field from Fema IPB University. This collaboration can strengthen UPM’s relationship with IPB University which has been going well. In the future, we will hold guest lectures, exchange lecturers and students, develop research, scientific publications and organise international conferences or seminars and various other academic activities,” said Prof Mohamad.

The same thing was also conveyed by the Dean of Fema IPB University, Dr Sofyan Sjaf. “We would like to say thank you, this offer of academic collaboration is very well received. We are currently increasing cooperation in the academic field, guest lectures, research, scientific publications and the Freedom of Learning – Independence Campus (MBKM) programme with universities both at home and abroad,” he explained.

With this collaboration, Dr Sofyan hopes to strengthen and strengthen collaboration between institutions. In addition, the synergy with UPM is expected to contribute to increasing the Main Performance Indicators (IKU) of IPB University.

Marking the start of this collaboration, a Guest Lecture entitled ‘Community Development in Indonesia: Perspectives and Approaches’ at UPM Malaysia. This method presents the Student Affairs and Discipline Commission of the Department of Communication Science and Community Development (SKPM) Fema IPB University, Dr Ninuk Purnaningsih and Titania Aulia, MSi; as well as the Secretary of the SKPM Department, Hana Indriana, MSi.
