Wonderful Leuwisadeng, How IPB University’s KKN-T Innovation Students Introduce Village Potential Early on

A group of IPB University students who participated in the Innovation Real-ThematicWork Lecture (KKN-T) created the Wonderful Leuwisadeng program. This activity aims to introduce the potential of the village early on and provide an understanding to children about the beauty and potential of their village.

Fiham Afwan Muarij, a student representative of KKN-T Innovation IPB University stated, in this activity the children of Leuwisadeng village aged 6 to 14 years were divided into three teams to complete a mission. The mission was divided into five posts, each of which raised values such as kinship, cohesiveness, leadership and teamwork.

“It is hoped that this activity can increase children’s awareness of the beauty of the village and the potentials around them. By inviting them to participate in this positive activity, hopefully the children will get to know and love their village and understand the importance of maintaining and utilizing local resources,” said Fiham.

Fajar, a 10-year-old participant, enthusiastically shared the valuable experience he gained from the Wonderful Leuwisadeng activity. He felt very happy to be part of the team and complete various interesting missions.

According to him, this activity not only brought him closer to his peers, but also gave him the opportunity to learn more about the potential of his village. “I’m happy to be able to participate in this activity, especially during the holidays. So instead of being at home, it’s better to learn while playing like this,” Fajar concluded. (FAM/Rz) (IAAS/Hap)
