Enthusiasm of 2023 UTBK-SNBT Participants at IPB University

The implementation of the 2023 Computer-Based Writing Exam – National Selection Based on Test (UTBK-SNBT) at IPB University which has been running since Monday, May 8 to today is colored by the enthusiasm of the participants. The examinees for the morning session appeared to have been present at the exam location since 05.00 in the morning. Parental support was also seen where not a few of the participants came accompanied by their parents. Even these parents are waiting for their sons and daughters who are struggling by sitting around the test site.

Various positive responses were given by the participants. Yemima Marbun, a participant from Bogor said the exam she took at IPB University went smoothly. "The information provided by IPB University is very complete. This really helps us prepare for the exam," he said. He also mentioned that the facilities in the exam room were clean, tidy and cool.

Galang said the same thing. He added that the facilities provided by IPB University made it easy for the participants. "The committee's service during the exam was very good. The committee was very communicative and informative," he said. He said the information provided by the exam supervisor was very clear and very helpful in the technical implementation of the exam.

The implementation of UTBK on the IPB University Campus was supported by 46 exam supervisors, 30 room technicians, 3 doctors, 4 paramedics, 15 cleaners, 50 security officers, 5 location managers, 8 location representatives, 1 server admin, as well as coordinators including implementing coordinator and information and communication technology coordinator.

This year, tests for UTBK participants consist of a Scholastic Potential Test (TPS), literacy in Indonesian, literacy in English, and Mathematical Reasoning. (*) (IAAS/Res)
