Capacity Building Vice Rector IV Team : Cultivating Sense of Belonging for IPB University

Vice Rector of Innovation, Business and Entrepreneurship (Vice Rector IV) of IPB University held an outing activity with a theme of “Capacity Building and Improvement  of Human Resource Quality” for Directorate and Unit scope under management of Vice Rector IV, in Agribusiness Technology Park (ATP), IPB University, on Tuesday, November 19th 2019.

Around 250 staffs of Vice Rector IV were involved in this activity. Three Directorates and two Units under management of Vice Rector IV are listed in this activity. Those were from Directorate of Business Development And Entrepreneurship, Directorate of Innovation And Intellectual  Property, Directorate of Science Techno Park and Business Incubator, Laboratory Unit of Testing Services, Calibration and Certification, and Language Training Unit.

In her opening speech, Dr. Erika Budiarti as Vice Rector IV, announced that this annual activity aims to unify the collective responsibility of carrying out the work assigned from IPB University. Erika hopes for all staffs are able to work hand-in-hand mutually in each units, having high tolerance, understanding each other, and having mutual trust after this activity.

“This outing activity Is one of our mission to create bonding and strengthen collaboration, let us forget about our burden just for today. Afterwards, we should have a fresh spirit and return to our units with a whole new enthusiasm,” said Professor of Department of Nutrition Science and Feed Technology of Faculty of Animal Husbandry.

Moreover, Erika expressed her gratitude to every stakeholder involved in this activity. As without any supports from related Directorates and Units, this activity would not be wrapped up perfectly.

Outing activity was started with line dance instructed by Mrs. Ari from Faculty of Agricultural Technology IPB University and continued with games from Supporting Business Unit (SUP) Botani Edutourism, and closed with jargon from each units.

Some head of Directorates and Units under Vice Rector IV were also seen attending this activity, namely Dr Jaenal Effendi, MA (Director of Business Development And Entrepreneurship), Dr Ir Syarifah Iis Aisyah, MSc Agr (Director of Innovation And Intellectual  Property), Dr Ir Rokhani, MSi (Director of Science Techno Park and Business Incubator), representative of Language Training Unit, Mohammad Khotib, SSi, MSi (Head of Laboratory Unit of Testing Services, Calibration and Certification) and other head of sub directorates.

Aside of games held for staffs, there was also archery competition held exclusively for all commissary. Also, to cheer up the moment, partners from BNI, BRI, Mandiri, and Directorate of Business Development And Entrepreneurship were giving out doorprizes. (AUN/RA) (IAAS/RH)
