Greetings, Appreciation and Introductions of IPB Vocational Schools
After the transformation of the Diploma Program into Vocational School and the inauguration of new leaders, the Vocational School of the Bogor Agricultural University (SV-IPB) held the Welcoming Separate Event, Appreciation and Introduction to the IPB Vocational School at IPB International Convention Center, Bogor (10/8).
The event was followed not by the IPB leadership, Chair of the IPB Board of Trustees (MWA), management of the previous period SV-IPB, lecturers, and education staff (tendik). They are Prof. Muhammad Achmad Chozin, M.Agr (Chair of the IPB Board of Trustees), Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Zairin Junior, M.Sc (IPB Diploma Program Director for the period 2004-2009 and 2009-2014 period), Dr. Ir. Suwarno, MS (Deputy Director of Education for the period 2007 – 2018), Dr. Drs. D. Iwan Riswandi, SE, MSi (Deputy Director of Resources, Cooperation and Development for the 2014-2018 Period) Dr. Ir. Irmansyah, MSi (Deputy Director of Student Affairs for the 2014–2018 period) and Chair of the Study Program at the SV-IPB.
Dr. Ir. Arief Daryanto, MEc as the Dean of the SV-IPB in his speech conveyed the development, achievements and program plans that will be carried out by all the new leaders along with the lecturers and tenders of the SV-IPB. Among them are the number of graduates who will graduate, improvement of information management systems, improvement of the quality of academic management and service plans for campus facilities development and cooperation that will be built with stakeholders and information about student exchanges in collaboration with the Mindoro State College of Agriculture and Technology (MINSCAT), Philippines in the SEAMEO-TVAT program participant to Vocational School of IPB Indonesia.
"I invite all leaders, lecturers and education staff to work together well with enthusiasm to continue the ideals of our predecessors who have raised the IPB Diploma Program. We make momentum and challenges as our motivation together to make the IPB Vocational School the foremost and best in producing graduates who have superior competencies, "he said.
Furthermore, remarks from the Director of the 2014-2020 IPB Diploma Program, Dr. Ir. Bagus P. Purwanto, M.Agr who expressed his gratitude and high appreciation for the dedication and cooperation that has been built between the leaders, lecturers and students so that they can help with their duties while leading the IPB Diploma Program.
The event was continued with the giving of souvenirs and photos together with officials of the IPB Diploma Program for the period 2004-2009, the period 2009-2014, and the period 2014 – 2018 which was given directly by the Dean of the Vocational School of IPB.
After giving souvenirs, the event was then followed by remarks in the form of congratulations, messages and hopes from Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Zairin Junior, MSc and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Achmad Chozin, M.Agr so that the Vocational School of IPB can continue to advance and become the best with the spirit of togetherness of all citizens of the SV-IPB.
The welcome ceremony was closed with a prayer, followed by greetings from all participants who attended and enjoyed the meal while having a good time. (AVR)
