3,817 New Students of IPB Perform Asian Games’ Flash Mob

About 3,817 new students (Saga Agrisatya or class 55) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) take part in the New Student Campus Recognition Period (Pre MPKMB) IPB at Graha Widya Wisuda, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor (11/8). Rector of IPB, Dr. Arif Satria provides a briefing on how and tips to become a successful person who loves agriculture. "Food is important so the role of IPB students in agriculture is needed," said the Rector of IPB.

After getting a briefing from the Chancellor of IPB, in order to welcome one of the national events that will take place in Indonesia, the Asian Games, and these new students then simultaneously carry out flash mobs. They are divided into five places around IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor.

"Even though the activities are carried out on the day until the afternoon, new students are not tireless and can still follow the movements that the committee has prepared eagerly. This flash mob is accompanied by a song titled Bright as the Sun, the song that is the theme of the 2018 Asian Games. Through this event, it is hoped that besides being able to get to know the campus and the MPKMB IPB 55 series, new students can also contribute actively to Indonesia, "said the MPKMB committee. (jhn)
