Casual, bright, cheerful says Prof. Zairin Junior, when he was asked about the concept of construction of the Administration Builiding of the Diploma Program of Bogor Agricultural University in the ribbon cutting of the building, on 25  January 2011. The newly opened  building is  very colorful and glassy.  

Prof. Zairin stated further, the Diploma students characteristics was taken into consideration in choosing the color of the building. In addition, the building was designed in such a way to make faculty members feel at home and comfortable. Prof. Zairin also informed that the budget for the construction of this building was from the facility development fund.

Either the seats or walls of the building,  especially the counseling room for students are very colorful  to escentuate  relax and cheerful situation. According to Prof. Zairin, the  layout of the building is as follows: a. The 1st floor will be for student affairs with  its related services including  the student counseling room; b. The 2nd floor room will be for Director, and Deputy Director, and Data Manager offices; c. The 3rd floor will be for Program Coordinators of Field Studies; and d. The 4th floor will be for Faculty members offices.

Meanwhile, Rector of Bogor Agricultural University, Prof, Dr. Ir.  Herry Suhardiyanto stated that the most important action after the opening of this administration building is its maintenance, as how  to manage the building  to be well-functional.

In addition to the administration building, according to Rector, the Diploma Program should also focuse in the development of laboratory  facilities and infrastructure, as the power of Diploma Program is its practical works.  The Diploma Program should provide appropriate laboratories for its student curriculum activities, as it will provide a complete picture of the Diploma students’ competence, "he said.

The ceremony was attended by the executive boards of the University, and  the event was ended by the  ribbon cutting by Rector. (Wied).
