Visit of Ten Korean Students to IPB

Ten female students of Seoul Woman University came to visit for a cultural exchange for eight days in IPB. This was revealed at the reception of their arrival (11 / 1) in Darmaga campus of IPB. They were greeted by Director of Student Affairs, Dr. Rimbawan; Head of Subdirectorate for International Program, Dr.drh Moh. Agil, M. Agr.; and President of Student Executive Body (BEM KM IPB), Reza Pahlevi.

Responsible for the cultural exchange activities of Seoul Woman University – IPB, Daniel Naek Chrisendo said that while the IPB they will do some cultural attractions in order to introduce the  culture of both countries.

"They have a very long program in Indonesia; not only in IPB, but they will also hold courses taught at several schools," he said.

They will introduce their cultures including the introduction of traditional sports, games, cooking, clothing, and so forth.

They will also visit several tourism objects featuring Indonesian culture, for example, visits to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) and to the village of Sunda in Sindang Barang.

"In the Sundanese village they hope to be able to follow the traditional ceremony of rice harvest, and to know better the life of the Sundanese people," said Daniel.
 
Daniel hopes, with the cultural exchange of the two countries, we could help the government in promoting Indonesian culture to another country. (mtd)
