Sportakuler of Faculty of Economics and Management of Bogor Agricultural University
Sportakuler is part of the Annual Work Programs of the Executive Board of Students of Faculty of Economics and Management (BEM-FEM), and especially the sportaculer is Olympic Sports for Faculty members and also Futsal Tournament for high school students of of Greater Jakarta and surrounding areas (Jabodetabek). Sportakuler 2010 lasted more than two weeks, 5 – 22 November 2010. The opening ceremony took place on 8 November 2010 at the Gymnasium of Bogor Agricultural University, at 19.00 – 22.00.
In the opening, each representative of the Department wore their Departemental costumes and yell out slogans for encouragement to their contingents who would compete in the following two weeks. Not only attended by students, the opening cerremony was also attended by member of Dekanat, and Faculty members of the Departments. The percussion Varara and Violin were performed in the event, and was followed by the first party of Futsal between IE 44 vs MAN 44, and the handphone doorprize went to Arlena of MAN 44.
"This event was the forum for those who interested in sport. Especially for FEM, this event was a forum for Departmental gathering, as well as to promote the spirit of sportsmanship, "said Guruh Herman Was’an, Chairman of the Organizing Committee who is currently studying at the Department of Economics.
In the first week was Futsal tournament for High School students. The tournament was participated by sixteen teams of Jakarta and surrounding areas. Those schools were, SMA 1 Adi Sanggoro, SMA 5 Depok, SMA 6 Depok, SMA 10 Bogor, SMA 12 Bekasi, SMA 28 Jakarta, SMA BBS Bogor, SMA Kosgoro, SMA 1 Ash-Shoheh, SMA Kornita, SMK Kornita, SMA 1 Tajur Halang, SMA Dwi Warna, SMA 1 Taman Sari, SMA 1 Parung, and SMA Al-Nur. The system used in tournaments was competitive balance system (sistem setengah kompetisi). The result of the tournament, 1st Place was SMA BBS Bogor, 2nd place for SMA Kosgoro, and 3rd place for SMA 10 Bogor. Top Scorer for this year was SMA BBS Bogor team.
Games for Faculty at the Sportakuler 2010 were volleyball for men and women, basketball for men and women, table tennis for men and women, athletic for men and women, badminton, futsal, soccer and aerobics. This events took place from afternoon until late at night within two weeks. Every night the Gymnasium and Old Stadium were filled by the contingents as well as their supporters who fought for their Departments.
The Closing Ceremony of Sportakuler 2010 was held on 22 November 2010. The event was more lively with the launching of FEM song for OMI, exhibition match between the All-Star FEM alumni VS FEM, and Final match for Futsal between Management 44 VS Agribusiness Extension. At the end the closing was the announcement of winners and the awarded of medals. (Wied).
