The splendidid August 2010 Wednesday General Audience
After 10 February 2010 Bogor Agricultural University successfully held Wednesday General Audience (Rabuan), an event which usually held twice a year was again held on 4 August 2010. The general audience is a tradition that organized as forum for communication and gathering for the University communties. In this special event, various programs and achievements made during the period under review were presented by the Executive Board of the Bogor Agricultural University to the University communities. Hundreds of members of the University communities were always anthusiatic to attend this important event. Graha Widya Wisuda (GWW) is always a witness for such special meetings held twice a year.
Wednesday General Audience is a moment to share and the forum inputs collection from the University communities. Inputs from the University communities of the earlier event were followed up and will be processed to be the present policies and some were being processed to be responded later.
The theme of Wednesday General Audience held on February and August this year was similar "Togetherness Achieving Prime Accountability ", and it was appropriaste theme as the University is in the process to build the unity among academicians of Bogor Agricultural University towards achieving the accountability of the implementation of “tri dharma” i.e. aspects of academic, research and community services. Together with hundreds of the University communties in the event, were the Exectuive Board Members of the University, Dean and Vice Dean, chairman of the Ddepartments, Derectors and Officers, Head and Deputy Head of the Institute of Research and Community Services, as well as and Directors of Centers. The Academic Senate (SA), Board of Trustees (MWA), the Board of Professors (DGB) and the Board of Audit (DA) were there to grace the occassion.
In addition to provide opportunities to communicate with the Exectuive Boards of the University, the event was also the forum for University communities to give suggestions and submit their written inputs for continuous improvement to the Executive Boards. Coincided with special event, Bogor Agricultural University has launched the new English website of the University, that include the Information systems of Executive Boards Agenda, and Information Systems for University’ Payroll (Payroll System). Also in this event, symbolically Bank Mandiri Tbk handed over the grants for Bogor Agricultural University. The grants were servers for Bogor Agricultural University resources, student mail system, server for database of personal web, and digital scanning total amounted to Rp. 232 577 850,- (Two hundred thrity two thousand five hudred seventy seven and eight hundred fifty Rupiah).
The special event won’t be well-implemented without the support and all parties in the University, such as the Public Relations and Protocol, the secretariat of the Exectuive Boards, Directorate of Facilities and Property, the Directorate of Human Resources, Directorate of Finance, Polyclinic, Campus Security Unit, Agriaswara, and Agrianita.
