School of Business

Task:

School of Business is responsible for planning, implementing and controlling the activity of Tridharma of Higher Education in sarjana, master, and doctoral programs in the field of business.

Function:

  1. Planning, implementing and controlling the activity of Tridharma of Higher Education in sarjana, master and doctoral programs;
  2. Supervising the activity of Tridharma of Higher Education in accord with the targets and quality standards that have been set;
  3. Developing the organization and student activities;
  4. Handling and maintaining the cleanliness, order and security;
  5. Fostering the alumni relation, as well as the academic and non academic cooperations with the working partner;
  6. Fostering the lecturers and the educational personnel;
  7. Providing the facilitating of the maintenance and completion of academic administration, personnel, finance, asset, and student affairs.

The Manager of School of Business consists of:

  1. Dean;
  2. Vice Dean;
  3. Senate of School of Business;
  4. Division; and
  5. Administration Section.

In carrying out its function, the Dean is assisted by two Vice Deans namely:

  1. Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs.
  2. Vice Dean for Resources, Cooperation, and Development.

Senate of School of Business consists of:

  1. Dean;
  2. Vice Dean;
  3. Professor;
  4. 2 (two) vice deans not professors chosen from each division. 

Senate of School of Business carries out the function:

  1. Preparing and adopting the norms and benchmarks of the implementation of Tridharma of Higher Education, in accord to the benchmarks set by IPB University;
  2. Supervising toward the implementation of organizing the assurance and the quality control of academic education and profession;
  3. Preparing the input to the leaders of School of Business and Division in preparing the strategic plan, the work plan, and the annual budget;
  4. Nominating the Candidate Deans to the Rector; and
  5. Consenting the nomination of academic promotion of lecturers to professors and considering for academic promotion of lecturers to Associate Professors for the Dean.

Administration Section carries out the function:

  1. Implementing the academic administration in the School of Business;
  2. Implementing the administration of student affairs and alumni in the School of Business;
  3. Implementing the administration of planning and finannce in the School of Business;
  4. Implementing the administration of management and staffing in the School of Business;
  5. Implementing the administration of  management,  public, facilities/infrastructures, inventory items and supplies in the School of Businesss; and
  6. Implementing the administration of data and reporting in the School of Business.

Administration Section consists of:

  1. Sub Section of Education and Student Affairs.
  2. Sub Section of Data Processing and Facilities/Infrastructures.
  3. Sub Section of Finance, Personnel and General.
