Confectionary image of tempe was not so good before there was a report that it was found some advantages in terms of nutrition and medical efficacy in some scientific studies. Tempe price which was relatively cheap, a good taste, a high nutrient content, owned medical potential, and the ability to be processed into a variety of foodstuffs, had made tempe increasingly popular. It was reported that other important substances found in tempe was were antioxidants in the form of isoflavones. Like vitamin C, vitamin E, and carotenoids, the isoflavones also had the antioxidants which were needed by the body to stop the reaction of free radical formation which could cause tumor, cancer, aging and cell death. Free radical could be derived from the daily food we ate or from the reactions that occured in the body.

Internal Audit Office (KAI) Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) and Institute for Research and Community Services (LPPM) of IPB organized the workshop with the headline of “Audit Internal Non Akademik Perguruan Tinggi / Internal Audit for Non Academic of University”. The activity which took place in IPB International Convention Center (IICC) Bogor was held for four days (18-21/5).
