A total of nine students from various Faculty of Bogor Agricultural University  have been awarded scholarships from Rabobank. The handing over of the scholarships took place in the special event “Rabobank Undergraduate Scholarship”, held on Tuesday, 24 January 2012, in Jakarta. The recipient of those scholarships are (1). Ahmad Faris Abrori (Faculty of Agriculture); (2). Amalia Nurul Huda (Faculty of Agriculture); (3). Jordan Cristoper Pangabean (Faculty of Agriculture); (4). Mentari   Amanda Putri (Faculty of Agriculture); (5).  Rahmat Irkham Triaji (Faculty of Agricultural Technology); (6). Riana Santoso (Faculty of Human Ecology); (7).  Ridwan Umar Hanafi (Faculty of Human Ecology); (8). Sonya Putri Rai (Faculty of Agriculture); and (9). Yurisqi Mukdisari (Faculty of Agriculture).

Floods, they always comes in the rainy season, and hundreds of subdistricts in dozens of provinces have suffered such disaster.  Interestingly, the worst floods occurred in Jakarta, our capital city,  when rainfall in Jakarta and other areas in Indonesia was at its highest recently. However, other higher areas which should not have been threatened by potential floods, they also have similar experience as  Jakarta had.
